This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Go Motion Sensors will make Conceptual Physics come alive for students by allowing them to see and experience physics concepts through real-time data and hands-on investigation. Instead of simply learning equations and definitions, students can use the sensors to measure motion, speed, acceleration, and changes in position as they move through different activities. They can connect what they observe to concepts such as velocity, acceleration, Newton’s Laws, and force by analyzing their own movement and seeing the physics happen right in front of them. The sensors give students an opportunity to make predictions, collect evidence, graph their results, and explain how the data supports the physics principles they are learning. By actively using the Go Motion Sensors, students can make meaningful connections between the classroom, the mathematics of physics, and the real world, turning abstract concepts into something they can see, measure, and understand.
