My Project

I need to add high quality density cube sets that include a wide variety of materials to compare. My project will help quantify the concept of density and help them calculate the density of each object.

Many students benefit from having hands-on materials to learn from.

I have included a samples of tungsten to add to the pre-packaged sets because this element is so remarkably dense.

One of the core concepts in understanding weather and climate is having a well-grounded, working understanding of density. The students learn about the concept, then calculate the density of objects - including air.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
