My Project

It's wild to think that the COVID pandemic is still affecting students today! However, it is true. Students missed out on over a year of learning how to interact with others and appropriately, how to follow rules, and how to "do school" in general. I have been working with my students through social-emotional lessons and behavioral rewards, both of these strategies have helped my students behave responsibly, respectfully, and safely.

Research shows that children respond better to positive rewards as opposed to negative consequences.

This is where I need your help! My treasure box is low on supplies yet I have students working hard daily to earn rewards. My students are not only being rewarded, they are also learning through a class economy how to manage money! I am asking for items like: slap bracelets, squishies, temporary tattoos, and big stickers to replenish my treasure box. Please help me reward my students for being responsible and respectful, every donation helps!
