Help me give my students updated, high interest books that explore history from the Incas to World War II.

My Project

Students are very interested in learning about the past. Why did the Incas leave Machu Picchu? How did ordinary people stand up against the Nazis during World War II? How did we get to where we are today? Students will regularly ask for books on different topics of history. Our collection definitely has holes and is outdated. This year we also got a new reading curriculum. Each unit has a different theme, some with historical topics. I want students to be able to dig deeper into the topics they are learning about in class.

Through this project, I would like to update our nonfiction history books to support student learning and support teachers with the curriculum.

I want students to be able to find the answers to all their questions and learn about the Incas, World War II, and more. Adding these engaging titles to our collection with help foster curiosity and create readers.
