My Students
Students come into school eager to learn and explore. They are excited to talk with their friends and teacher. At this young age, children acquire new skills each and every day. My biggest challenge is getting the students' attention and keeping them engaged in an activity.

I teach four and five-year-old children who love learning and enjoy coming to school every day. They are happy, inquisitive, curious, and energetic and they love to learn through play. I want their first experience in school to be positive.
My Project
I am requesting storage containers for my students to keep classroom materials organized. In a classroom with four-year-olds, most of the materials we use are hands-on items. Pieces can get lost easily. These storage containers will keep all the materials in one place for an activity. The see through containers will help students find the activity they are looking for quickly.
These containers are easy for young children to open independently.
It is important that we take care of the materials we have so we can use them for years to come.
We also need Crayola color sticks. These are a cross between a crayon and a colored pencil. They work great for crayon rubbings! The hedgehog craft will be used on Valentine's day as a fun art project. The erasers and shamrock craft will be used on St Patricks day as another fun art project. The garbage bags will be used to clean up after breakfast.
