Our 2nd grade students are creative, intelligent, and diligent students.

They need and deserve the chance for quality education. They love to learn, but also are concerned about how to make things better. They need support on how to be part of our community and the value of teamwork. They need to learn in the best possible way or with quality.

My Project

Our students love to draw and share their opinions! The research journal will help them understand how to study about topics they want to learn about. The read aloud book on animals will help give a mentor text example. All these materials will integrate the various learning styles of ELLs, Students with special needs, and others. The journals are graphic organizers needed for SDAIE support. Also, it will help the teacher spend more time helping students rather than making copies. The journals will teach them how to organize their thoughts. We really want our students to enjoy writing and sharing their stories. This will also help them create ideas for their own storybooks to publish. Please help us love writing!
