My Project

My classroom has old and dilapidated dry-erase boards that need to be replaced. It's been cumbersome to erase the writings on these boards, it takes a lot of effort and time to clean their surfaces. These dry erase boards have been in my classroom for many years now. My students need good quality dry erase boards in order to write effectively and efficiently, considering they solve math problems every day and perform their presentation in front of the class to explain their work. The dry erase boards that I have in my classroom have significant stains, dents, scratches, and markings that can no longer be eliminated due to the old and dilapidated surface materials on these boards. It's been always a challenge to write on these boards, so I believe that it's about time to have good-quality dry-erase boards that my students can use so they can showcase their work in front of everyone in the classroom without having to face the rigors of writing on stained and dented surfaces, without having to get through the markings and scratches as they try to write clearly on the boards. My students are very conscientious in their work; they try their best to make good presentations of their math solutions to a particular math problem. I also meet with another group of students for after school program, and they always want to write on the board. They exert a lot of effort writing on the board and explaining their work to me and to their classmates. But if there are permanent markings, dents, scratches, and stains that mess one's writing on the board, then time is wasted and learning is impeded.
