My Project

My students come from diverse backgrounds. Many of them are from rural areas and live on working farms. Others have never been on a farm and live in surrounding towns or cities. We also have others who have come to us from other states. No matter where they come from or where they live, all of them want to make their families and teachers proud.

My project is designed to help them reach their goals by giving them supplies and opportunities to shine.

The whiteboards and markers that I am requesting give my students a safe place to work out problems and erase them if needed without drawing a lot of attention from their peers. They have space to try to solve problems by various methods without worrying about the amount of paper being used or needing an eraser. The other supplies will help us with keeping our pencils sharp and having tape and glue for cut and paste activities.
