My Students

My students are funny, respectful, and full of a love for learning. They come to school each day ready to learn and grow in unexpecting ways. I learn just as much from my students, as they learn from me. I am inspired by their passion for learning!

Many of my students enjoy reading and moving around the room in a different area.

The school is located in Southern Indiana, where the students are joined with a preschool and goes through 12th grade. Each student within my room learns in different ways and enjoys being around the room in different locations to learn and read. I am undeniably blessed to spend my second year teaching with a group of students that inspire me and are truly passionate about school and their education!

My Project

Good writing materials are used daily in the classroom. With the help of this material, we will be even more effectively learning how to write properly. The futon and bean bag chair will be used each day for students who learn better away from a standard desk and for more comfortable reading around the room. Reading and writing are one of the biggest challenges for students today because there is so much technology floating around, but with the help of these materials, my students will learn the importance of reading and writing. This will also give them an opportunity to be comfortable while they learn.
