All the students in my room are enthusiastic about reading. When it comes to making reading comfortable, the students will enjoy getting to sit on floor mats, cushions, and a rug. Being able to curl up with a good book with enhance the joy of reading we instill in the classroom. My classroom library is my students' "go to" place for finding a book, and with these books, the students will have more options to influence their passion for reading. The students will be using these new books fo read silently during class. They will get to use the floor seats and inflatable chairs to relax around the room to read. If they choose to sit in their chairs, they will be able to use the fidget bands to help them focus. As we have a read aloud each day, they students can enjoy sitting on the new area rug, instead of the concrete. They will have more books in the library that are interesting to them and have a fun and comfortable place to sit to enjoy reading during class. My students have shown a passion for reading and this project will only enhance their interests through reading and influence independent reading.
