My Project

I watch so many of my students snack on unhealthy, inexpensive snacks. Many of my students come from low income homes where food insecurity is a concern. The foods they eat are not conducive to helping them mentally, or physically. Many students do not bring a snack, but the ones that do bring processed foods with a high sugar content. If kids had the means and knowledge to eat healthful snacks, they would stay more focused and hopefully this will help them build a lifelong habit of eating more healthfully.
