Work Hard & Snack Often

My Project

Hello wonderful doners! I am currently a kindergarten teacher at Victory College Prep in Indianapolis Indiana. We were blessed to get our first snack request funded at the beginning of the school year. It was able to provide my students with a snack a day all the way until Christmas break! It brought them so much joy to choose a snack each day and enjoy it with their friends before going home. I would love to recreate that joy in my classroom for the second half of the year. With our snack request we are hoping to get a classroom rug. This way my students can sit together while eating rather than sitting alone at their tables.

My students range between 5 and 6 years old and eat lunch at 10:30am and do not load the buses until 2:40pm leaving them without something to eat until dinner time after a long day of learning and a long bus ride home.

For a child this is a very long time! We always except donations from families but with the current grocery inflation it is difficult for families to send in any extra snacks. We would greatly appreciate your donations to help fill our tummies and hearts! Thank you!
