My Project

A work in a diverse title I school in Southern Maine. Many of my children are newcomers to the United States and this is their first experience in an English based learning setting. I want to provide a book basket of different wordless picture books for them to explore!

The great thing about these are they build confidence in reading and retelling skills because you don't need to "read" to read the pictures.

I am amazed at how popular the two books without words I have in my classroom are. I want to make reading accessible and enjoyable for all!
