My Project

Having a classroom full of boys have really helped me understand that I need to keep them active and create an environment that has materials that will keep them interested in their classroom.

Providing an area that is dedicated to woodworking will give my boys something new and exciting to do.

Woodworking will help them strengthen their fine motor skills(manipulating the nuts and bolts) and gross motor(moving the saw back and forth). Woodworking will allow the class to use their imagination to become architects and construction workers so that they can create structures, buildings, and even cities.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
