My Project

My students are all very different learners who enjoy a variety of sensory toy options and novel toys to engage in their fine motor development.

My students are sometimes hesitant to explore with their hands and require motivating toys to help develop their grasp and eye hand coordination so they can participate in learning activities at school.

They enjoy when I make different themed sensory bins with a variety of textures to explore with their hands. In the bins they learn through play to use a variety of tools. The book helps to build literacy into the activity.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
