This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project provides high-quality supplemental books that enhance our Dragonfly curriculum and strengthen literacy instruction. These resources will expand students' opportunities to engage with rich, authentic texts that deepen their understanding of classroom topics while building reading comprehension, vocabulary, and critical thinking skills.

The collection of multicultural and nonfiction books will help ensure that students have access to texts that reflect a variety of cultures, perspectives, and real-world experiences.

By providing books that serve as both mirrors and windows, this project supports an inclusive learning environment where students see themselves represented while also developing empathy and appreciation for others.
