Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My kindergarten students are full of energy, curiosity, and a love for learning. Many of them need extra support with focus, movement, and attention, especially students with ADHD and autism. I want to create a classroom environment that meets their needs and helps them succeed every day.

Flexible seating tools like fidget bands, lap desks, and floor seating will give my students safe ways to move while learning, helping them stay engaged and on task.

Magnetic tools will support clear routines and organized lessons, making learning easier to follow. A space-saving book tree will help keep our classroom neat while making books more visible and exciting, especially during our reading and science unit on trees.

With these resources, my classroom will become a calm, structured, and student-centered space where all learners feel supported, confident, and ready to learn.
