Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every day, my students come to class filled with energy and curiosity. They are most engaged when they are actively participating in their learning, not just sitting quietly at a desk. Many of my students, like so many kids their age, learn best when they can move their bodies and get their hands on something. My goal is to transform our classroom into a dynamic learning space where every student can get their wiggles out and feel excited to learn.

To make this a reality, I am requesting a set of wobble stools, mini whiteboards, and answer buzzers.

The wobble stools are a game-changer for my students who need to move to focus. These flexible seats will give them the freedom to sway and shift while staying on task, helping them self-regulate and stay engaged in lessons.

The mini whiteboards will give every student a voice. Instead of just a few hands going up, every student can quickly write down their thoughts or solutions and show me their work. This instant feedback helps me see who needs more support and allows students to participate without the pressure of speaking in front of the whole class. Finally, the answer buzzers will bring our lessons to life. I will use them to turn review sessions into exciting, game-show-style competitions that will encourage teamwork and make learning unforgettable.

With these resources, we can create a classroom where learning is an adventure. By supporting this project, you will help us build a community of active learners who feel motivated, focused, and ready to take on any challenge.
