Whiteboards Help Math Stick

Help me give my students more work space to do math problems. We're working with very small white boards and a nonfunctional chalk board. The Post-it dry erase whiteboard will cover the existing chalkboard and create a more productive space.

My Students

"I understand now! Let me show you what strategy I used." As a teacher of 24 students in a community school, I see the need for making my classroom a safe and comfortable place to learn, grow, and achieve. When I hear my students talking to each other with respect and are willing to helping others, I know that I have done my job.

My students love to learn and I want to continue to foster that love of learning for them.

I believe that all students should have the opportunity to have every resource possible to help them to continue to learn and grow.

My Project

The Post-it dry erase whiteboard surface I have requested will allow our students to have a productive workspace in the classroom. Right now, we have a green chalkboard from the 1970s that is nonfunctional. Our math work is completed on a very small whiteboard that is difficult for some of the children to see, and there is not much space for them to work collaboratively at the front of the room.

The large Post-It whiteboard film will cover the green chalkboard and allow us to transform our classroom from a dull, outdated space to a bright and revitalized one.

This resource will more than double our usable workspace. We just want our students to have every possible opportunity to succeed.
