Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are brilliant! The students I work with are English language learners. They are literally from everywhere. Our class is the definition of diverse. These students speak multiple languages with ease but struggle a bit with the reading and writing portion. They come to school every day eager to work hard and are excited to learn.

My Project

Middle schoolers are hilarious and creative and kind, but they are not naturally organized. This is a skill we work on every day of the school year. As I look over my class, it is obvious that one of the main ways I could help students to become organized is to ensure everyone has a binder and pencil case. It's simple, yet effective.

You'd be surprised how many kids just shove stuff into a tiny bag or even their pockets, never to be found again!

Please help me help students to keep track of their supplies and school work.
