Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our classroom, learning should feel exciting, safe, and inviting—but right now, our space doesn’t fully reflect that vision.

Many of my students learn best in environments that allow movement, flexibility, and comfort.

With your support, we will add: Bean bags and flexible seating to create a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, New desks and collaborative spaces to promote teamwork and independence. This transformation is about more than furniture; it’s about creating a feeling. When students feel comfortable, they are more focused. When they feel safe, they take risks. When they feel at home, they thrive.

As a literacy-focused educator, I see every day how the environment impacts learning. A cozy space can turn a reluctant reader into an engaged one. A flexible seat can help a distracted student stay focused. These small changes create big academic and emotional growth. Your donation will help create a classroom where students don’t just sit and learn—they belong, explore, and grow. Thank you for helping us build a space where comfort truly sparks curiosity.
