When We Read We Fly!

Help me give my students the experience of a lifetime because when we read we can fly! When we read nothing can stop us and we can be anything and anyone we want!

My Project

"Read left and read right and read low and read high. Oh! The things you can read up if only you try!" For students to reach their ultimate potential in any class reading is always a huge part. To be Art Smart they not only have to make art but to learn about past artists, art techniques, and art styles. In my art lessons, we are trying not just to draw a picture, but to study a famous artist and their strategies and try to incorporate them into our art.

My biggest goal is to make children fall in love with the reading process and experience themselves in writing and illustrating their own stories.

These books will transport our classes to different places and open their minds to what else is out there. I love to read them some classics or we watch a classic movie and then together we will draw a picture that connects to what we learned. I want my students to be excited about the learning process and see that they can do much more than they ever thought they can! Every child is talented they only need someone to show that to them and believe in them!
