My Project

The 2026-2027 school year will be my 26th year in the classroom, and I am so excited for this new group of students!

In my classroom, I push my students to challenge themselves to think critically, develop conceptual understanding, and make connections between classroom subjects and the real world!

To prepare for the upcoming school year, my classroom needs a restock of regular graphite and colored pencils. Colored pencils are essential in a classroom, especially when they are used for more than just art. Students use colored pencils in my classroom for both math and writing. Using colored pencils when learning a new math skill or when editing their writing helps students make connections to those new skills, resulting in better skill mastery. My students love to earn fancy pencils, and this box of graphite pencils is fancy while being of the high quality that Ticonderoga is known for. These pencils will last us for the entire school year. These supplies are essential in my classroom and will be used daily.
