My Project

After teaching science in a standard, carpeted classroom with no sinks or gas lines, I am finally going to be my element this coming school year! My students and I are making a massive reaction and moving into a true, dedicated science lab. I am positively thrilled to finally give my Physical Science and Honors Chemistry students the authentic, hands-on experiments they deserve without worrying about spilling chemicals on the carpet for the 2026-2027 school year!

Help us keep our eyes on the prize by funding a UV-sanitizing goggle cabinet for my new-to-me chemistry lab classroom!

However, there is one small hurdle we need to clear up before we can start experimenting. The existing goggle storage cabinet in our new lab is completely broken. When it comes to eye protection, we can't just turn a blind eye to hygiene, especially when multiple classes are sharing the exact same safety gear throughout the day.

That is exactly why we need a brand new, splash-proof goggle storage cabinet equipped with a UV germicidal light. This brilliant piece of equipment will literally shed light on our hygiene problem, zapping germs in between periods so every single student gets a fresh, sanitized pair of safety specs.
