My students need a rolling yoga ball chair to focus their energy on their learning, a comfy spot it sit on the floor and read or work, and stools to use in their small group.
As a teacher in a low-income school, my students are faced with several challenges both inside and outside of the classroom. Despite the challenges, I try to provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.
Flexible seating allows students to have responsibility and a choice in their learning.
Giving students a voice makes them feel cared for and therefore will preform better in their classes. Having these options also gets students excited to enter a classroom that looks and feels welcoming!
My Project
The seating arrangements I chose for my classroom will allow students to be excited and feel welcomed when they walk in the room. These materials will allow them to sit comfortably on the floor, work together and collaborate on the stools, and focus their energy on their work by using the yoga ball chair.
These materials will allow students the opportunity to choose their seats and allow them to work harder and learn more.
These flexible seating arrangements will also create a classroom that is welcoming and exciting for students! I know my students will be excited to use these materials in my classroom!
