Students use pencils, scissors, glue sticks, and colored pencils/markers daily for their interactive notebook in my class. This notebook gives students the opportunity to be creative, more engaged, and allows them to take initiative in their own learning process. Interactive notebooks not only enhance learning, but also gives students the chance to become more active and engaged learners, while allowing teachers to differentiate learning for different levels and needs. The materials are absolutely essential for active, engaged, creative, and differentiate learning to happen, this is one of the most important reasons to give to this project. All students should have the opportunity for this type of learning, regardless of not having finances for materials.

About my class
