My Project

My Reading Intervention students are amazing kids! They work so hard each day to build their literacy skills. One of the best ways for them to get stronger in reading is to practice reading every day.

My students need books that make them want to read, just like the Pigeon series by Mo Willems!

The silly antics of Pigeon & Duckling, the creative storylines, cute illustrations, and simple sentences hook my readers and help them build up their confidence. Before they know it, they're reading book after book!

These Pigeon & Duckling books are just the thing to motivate my students and make them want to read all the time. And that's a beautiful (or should I say bird-iful?) thing!
