This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Hello and thanks for checking out our proposal! I teach 22, 4-5 year old, kindergarten students in a public, charter school located in a very urban setting. My students come from diverse backgrounds and include special needs and English learners. Young children need reading, writing, math, and science skills, but they also need to create, build, and work with their hands! I have tried to provide my students with many different kinds of hands on materials to work with over the years and am always looking for more. Many of our class puzzles have been loved and used over the years and need to be replaced. I would also love to add some more manipulatives to our current collection so my students are able to create even more! Your donation would help provide my students with new puzzles and manipulatives to use in class. Thanks so much for your consideration! It will make a difference in the lives of my students
