Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Kindergarten is such an exciting time! Students are learning to read, write, and count, as well as imitate sounds or hold a paintbrush. Our students love to sing songs, learn new games, and engage! They are also very friendly. Their days include a lot of hugging, hand-holding and face to face conversations. Which is AMAZING, but they have yet to learn and understand the way germs work.

A healthy classroom is a great classroom!

That is why I look to teach my students about how to not only protect themselves from germs but also to not share theirs with others. I know that with your help, my students and my classroom can be healthy and clean!

My Project

By having these cleaning supplies, I will be able to eliminate a lot of bad germs and keep our students learning environment RISK-FREE from all the possible illnesses to come. I will not keep the classroom clean, but by having the germ books I asked for, I'll ​teach my student about germs and just how important it is to minimize them as much as possible. With a better understanding of germs, the students can then began to clean the classroom on their own and instruct themselves to cover all germ actions such as coughing, sneezing, and yawning. They will understand that just like we don't want the germs to get out, we do not want the germs to get in either.
