We Have the Power to Learn

Help me give my students supplies necessary to keep our classroom clean due to COVID-19. Many students are still in need of classroom headphones as well!

My Students

My students come from a very diverse, low-income/high-needs community. We strive to provide a learning environment that teaches responsibility, respect, and safety while encouraging learning. My students are eager learners who continually amaze me every day. They show their love for learning by modeling the Tiger Way, Respect, Responsibility, and Safety! My wish is to continually provide learning opportunities that foster this enthusiasm and love of learning. Connecting to their love of learning is my true goal.

My Project

Throughout this school year, we have faced many trials due to the pandemic. There are also many things that are needed to teach my students to become independent learners. I wish to give them the best chance possible at becoming readers, writers, and math superstars! I wish to provide the tools such as construction paper, paint, headphones, paintbrushes, play-doh mats, and social and emotional learning tools-that one may often take for granted. With a new math curriculum, we need many new storage items for the classroom and folders to create their daily workstations. This organizational tools will greatly benefit me year after year!
