Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Many of my students come from low socioeconomic families and are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. With COVID-19, their needs are even greater. As a concerned educator, I aim to provide them with the means they need to succeed.

Despite all the hardships that students encounter daily, they admirably still pursue to succeed in school and in life.

I have many gifted students. But also I have many students who are at the bottom 25% academically. No matter what level, I give them my all. Challenges do not stop us. I will tirelessly help them achieve and succeed.

My Project

A student who reads, writes better. A student who writes, reads better. It is that simple. There is no such a thing as a non-reader. He/she hasn't simply found their genre yet.

Reading is FUNdamental!

No matter what skill is been taught, my students are always immersed on the magic of reading and writing. There's no subject in school that does not benefit from a fluent reader. Therefore, I have yearly class project which mirrors the nationally well-known writing challenge “National Novel Writing Month”(NaNoWriMo). Every year I try to implement something new that would get the classes excited for their personal creation. This year, I would like to add 3D detail to their book covers. Also, create book stands, bookmarkers and much more.

Please help me take reading and writing to a whole other level of fun with this 3-D printer.
