"Teachers who love teaching, teach children who love learning." As I enter my twentieth year of teaching, I continue to follow this mantra in my classroom. I teach twenty-eight, wonderful students who come from poverty. My students are from varying ethnic backgrounds. Most of them come from homes that are struggling financially.
My students are extremely motivated and they are genuinely respectful of each other.
They are lovers of learning and I am truly grateful to be their teacher this year. They come to school with smiles on their faces and they are eager to learn. We need new books to use in our literacy centers.
My Project
My students are lovers of learning and I am truly grateful to be their teacher this year. They come to school with smiles on their faces and they are eager to learn. Students learn best when they feel safe and accepted by others. I would like to get books for my classroom library that teach kindness. These books will show the students how to accept each other and be kind to each other. These books will provide examples of kindness and how they should act around others in the classroom or at home. I want my students to be nice, generous people who do good deeds throughout the school day.
I want my students to choose kindness in their words and actions.
