My students come from a variety of backgrounds and learning levels. Many face the added challenge of being English Language Learners. They are eager to learn and LOVE coming to school. They come to school each day with energy and a thirst for knowledge despite their poverty and socioeconomic issues. I want to give my students every opportunity to experience learning. Everyday they are learning new and wonderful things. They come into my classroom with a smile on their face and at the end of the day they leave with a smile on their face. I am so lucky to be their teacher.
