My Project

The books in this project will provide students with research texts, both narrative and informational, to read and use to write about reading and share knowledge collaboratively with their peers.

Our goal is to focus on our two lead measures, sharpen our reading skills by reading a variety of books and write about our reading.

We are also using the RACER strategy to create quality writing exemplars. When we have access to books, we have access to expanding our knowledge on specific topics, such as, leadership, frogs, and literary classics.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
