My Students

The students at my school are energetic and fun-loving children. My school is an inner-city school in which the diversity of the students represents our community. Our students work super hard and they love to explore, discover and learn. In addition, we are located near Ft. Bragg and have many military families transferring in and out of the school. All students receive free breakfast and free lunch. I have focused a great deal of attention on creating a strong and interesting reading selection for our all-stars at our school!

My Project

My school uses the Accelerated Reader Program, which is a tool that encourages students to read books on their perfect level in order to improve. I make it a focus to provide the best and most interesting books that I can find for my students.

The "Wayside School" series comes highly recommended by the very students at my school and across the county!

I would love to give them exactly what they ask for and more. Any student coming to me in hopes of a good book, I will never turn them down.
