Help me give my students a washer and dryer to help keep down the spread of germs for their cot sheets and undergarments. We are also in need of a Bluetooth speaker for graduations and school celebrations.

My Project

A clean and healthy classroom environment is essential for our students to learn, grow, and thrive. Our classroom has a significant need for a washing machine and dryer to ensure that frequently used classroom items—including towels, sensory materials, dress-up clothes, costumes, blankets, and other washable resources—can be cleaned and sanitized regularly. Having laundry facilities available in the classroom will help reduce the spread of germs, improve hygiene, and provide students with clean materials every day. This is especially important for students who rely on shared sensory and adaptive equipment that requires frequent washing to remain safe and comfortable.

Access to a washing machine and dryer will also allow us to respond quickly to unexpected spills, accidents, or soiled clothing, helping students remain comfortable and minimizing disruptions to instructional time.

By maintaining a clean learning environment, we can better support student health, attendance, and overall well-being.

In addition, our classroom would greatly benefit from a Bluetooth speaker. The speaker will enhance daily instruction by providing clear, high-quality audio for educational videos, movement activities, music, and classroom celebrations. It will also play an important role during student recognition events, graduations, and other special occasions, allowing every student to fully participate and enjoy these memorable experiences.

Together, these resources will create a healthier, more engaging, and more inclusive classroom environment. The washing machine and dryer will help protect students by reducing germs and keeping shared materials clean, while the Bluetooth speaker will support learning, foster community, and make classroom celebrations meaningful for every student.
