Warrior Soccer Items Needed!

Help me give my students the experience of being on a soccer team! We want our students to learn basic soccer skills, the importance of good sportsmanship, and how to be on a team.

My Students

I work in a K-8 school.

One hundred percent of the students in my school are on free or reduced price lunch.

My school is a public school in Indiana located in an urban, high poverty area. Many of them have trauma that carries into the day. My goal is to provide a safe and comforting environment that my students look forward to coming to each day. Each child strives to do their best and makes me excited to go to work every day!

My Project

Our students in grades 4-6 are excited to get to play soccer this year! However, we are lacking resources to give them the best ability to learn and practice soccer! We are in need to soccer balls so students are able to practice basic skills and drills in small groups. Currently we only have 3 soccer balls in order to practice and play this season. These soccer balls would change how we are able to teach and help explain each strategy to our athletes. We are also wishing for shin guards so that the students are able to protect themselves during practice and in games. We want our students not to worry about how to provide the items to be able to play a sport they love.
