My students were super excited when the packages started to arrive. They were so surprised by what we were able to get, but more importantly, they were both delighted and thankful. \r\n\r\nMy students absolutely love books! We were able to get books that align with our units of study. I have noticed that when I provide high interest books that are directly aligned with what we are learning that my students are much more engaged and interested. Increasing a love of reading and learning comes easy when you have such wonderful supplies and items. \r\n\r\nFinally, my students really wanted items for play during indoor recess. We got some puzzles, pretend food, babies, lincoln logs, and a marble run, just to name a few. My students started pretending even more than before! They were working together collaboratively on puzzles, running restaurants, and day cares.
