My Project

My room is a safe space for my students and a place they can come when they have any needs whether its personal female health related, a hungry belly, or a place to destress during lunch. These items will help provide them with the things they need to make their life a little easier.

My students are going to change the world, I just want them to feel safe and confident, so they believe it too.

Often our students come in needing the little things that help them feel more confident, like hygiene-related items and nourishment. They also deal with hardships outside of the classroom that are unfortunately out of their control but nevertheless impact their sense of security and self-esteem.

The items I am requesting, ranging from snacks to feminine hygiene products, will help them feel a little more nourished, both emotionally and physically.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
