Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Throughout the 2023- 2024 school year, my students are faced with many challenges. However, they have continued to work hard and have displayed a positive attitude towards school.

Many of my students have not been able to afford and enjoy certain food items, and they struggle to keep warm during the winter.

I would like to provide the students in my class with a variety of snack items and gloves. I would also like to be able to provide my students a safe comfort area within my classroom to be able to enjoy these items as well!

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
