My Project

Our classroom is located in the historic basement of our school where insulation is poor and drafts of chilling air sweep in. The portable heater that was previously funded works great for a small area of the room, but we are needing a larger unit to heat the remainder of the space. The AC window we currently have will not be functioning by spring, which this duo unit will hopefully replace giving both cooling and heating when it is needed most.

The environment plays a large role in student learning - it is difficult to focus when a room is freezing.

Help us warm our classroom so that students can warm up their futures as they plan for postsecondary and career success!
