This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As the first snowflakes swirl and the winter wind begins to bite, we find ourselves thinking of the warmth that comes not just from cozy classrooms and crackling fires but from the kindness of our community.

This year, I have a special wish for our precious fourth graders: to make this winter a season of joy and comfort, even as the temperatures dip.

I'm reaching out to you today with a heartfelt request for your support in "Warm Head, Fingers, and Toes."

Imagine the smiles on their faces as they pull on cozy hats that shield their ears from the wind or and slip their fingers into snug gloves that keep them warm during snowball fights. Picture the delight as they sip steaming mugs of hot chocolate, its rich aroma filling the air, and savor the sweetness of cookies, a delicious reward for a day of winter play.

These simple gifts, made possible by your generosity, would be more than just winter warmers; they would be tokens of your care, reminding each child that they are part of a community that wraps its arms around them, even during the coldest months.

With your help, we can ensure that every child in our fourth-grade class starts their day with a warm hat and gloves, has a cozy pair of socks to snuggle into during story time, and enjoys a steaming mug of hot chocolate and a sweet treat to chase away the winter blues.
