Together, we created a long list of encouraging messages to help us stay calm and remind us that we have support. Next, we wrote snack grams for our friends in grades 3 to 5 and prepared a snack box for each day of testing for each class. Its green color reminds us of nature, creating an oasis of peace. The audio recorder is shaped like an old phone, which piqued their curiosity about how to use it. Although we don't have a landline to connect it to, the students can leave messages that I can review later. The digital frame is a great tool for fostering community and displaying the many pictures we've taken together. When my students first saw it, their faces lit up with joy and curiosity. The trampoline supports regulation, helps them stay focused, and prepares them for learning. While jumping, I model simple words like \"go,\" \"stop,\" \"more,\" and \"jump,\" giving students meaningful opportunities to communicate. It has also encouraged turn taking and shared enjoyment.\r\n\r\nAnother favorite has been the farm animals barn toy. My students were immediately engaged by removing the lid and discovering the animals inside. This simple activity builds excitement and motivation. They enjoy taking the animals out, using them as puppets, attempting animal sounds, and labeling familiar animals with support. These moments create opportunities for joint attention while I model and expand language.\r\n\r\nThese resources are helping my students build early communication skills, increase confidence, and connect with others.
