My Students

I teach in a head start classroom in a public school building. My students love hands-on learning, art, music, and they love to move! The children love to smile and learn new things. Opportunity is key!

Having the opportunity to learn and explore new educational items will be something we all can look forward to.

Our children love to move, be hands-on, and creative! We love to teach in a way that can be fun and eye-opening. When our children have the "light bulb" moment, we know we are doing our job and that makes us so very happy.

My Project

Some of our students just do not have families who have the means to just go out and buy new blankets when they are needed. These blankets would be so helpful in helping to keep them warm through the cold winter months.

Knowing a child is home cold is one of the worst feelings ever.

It breaks my heart to think some of our students may be at home cold or have not gotten a new blanket in a very long time. Please help me fund this project so all of our students can have new blankets.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
