We love to focus on emotions every school year so our students will learn how to express themselves. The emotion books will help during read-a-loud. We will also be able to use the emotion mirrors to show the children exactly how each emotion looks on different people. A child may grab an emotion mirror at any part of the day to express how they may be feeling if they are unable to find the words. Our students will absolutely thrive from the sensory experience given to them. Using sensory toys and sensory objects are crucial in helping children focus and get a sense of different textures, etc. Children will benefit from playing in water with sensory toys yet also building their cognitive skills and working towards kindergarten goals as well. All these items are easily able to be sanitized and used for the next day. Our children will benefit from all these items for years to come.
