Warm and Welcoming Library

Help me give my students comfy seats for reading in the library and headphones for completing Computer Science assignments.

My Project

The flexible seating and headphones will help my students better engage with the library and its various resources both directly related to instruction as well as those related social emotional learning. These students are all very far below grade level in reading and mathematics. Most of the students are homeless or home/food insecure.

Several receive special education services, as well.

Students utilize the library to complete many fun STEAM (STEM) activities as well and these resources would help greatly in this regard as well.

The library is a place where ALL students visit weekly. I would love to add these items to the library for the students to enjoy!
