My students have enjoyed the process of not only making a candle but naming it as well. I have heard so many acknowledgements on how it has helped them calm themselves, redirect to more positive outcomes instead of self- medicating by using drugs. Some of the students have even shared with their peers how using the candle to redirect their thought once calm has helped them tremendously.
