Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a school-based occupational therapist I work with a variety of students from Pre-K - second grade. This year I would like to focus on creating a more functional and welcoming environment for my students to create a positive and engaging atmosphere. Currently, the windows in our classroom either have broken shades or do not have shades.

I believe that the environment we work in and the atmosphere we create for our students can be very conducive to learning needs!

The curtains and rods in this project will make a huge impact in creating a space for our students to learn creating a more welcoming classroom with a warm and cozy feel!
