Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These books will continue to enhance the art-rich classroom that I strive to create. Our art room is a place that my students really enjoy. Every art book that is placed in the art room is treated with love and care, and they are thankful for the opportunities to learn about a wide range of artists. All of these books have been chosen with empowering female artists in mine. All of our art students need to learn about how these artists are creating a better world for us and our future. Students will be able to choose books, which will help them continue to enjoy independent art time.

With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to work independently at their own level.

They will also be able to choose books about artists that interest them. My students already have shown an astonishing interest in a wide range of art media and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed stories of amazing artists.
