Each year, I ask my French students to select a novel to read in the target language. I do this for every class and for every level (teaching four different levels of French!).
With this project, you will help provide more choice to students by adding new novels to our classroom library.
With choice, students are able to find a novel that interests them --- helping to motivate them to read in the target language! Please give my students the ability to explore, discover, and so much more in French!
Secondly, this project will also provide some basics for our classroom. Each year, I select one or two seniors and they receive our school's French award. In addition to a certificate, students receive a copy of Le Petit Prince and a French flag. The project will also provide a sugar treat when students need a boost and film will allow use to capture some great moments with our classroom camera.
